The First VIRS
A graphic novel thesis
These are part of the illustrations I did for the graphic novel The First VIRS, a collaborative project written by Dr. Danbee Kim. 17 artists worked on this project, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to illustrate chapter three, which was full of killer dogs and bizarre plants.
In Dr. Kim's words, this project is "a graphic novel that combines cutting-edge topics in science and technology into a near-future hard science fiction story about two teens on a post-climate-apocalypse Earth who wield the ancient craft of neuroscience against an oppressive World Government."
